Vastly Improved Interaction Skills


This manager was a strong performer and was on the fast track to directorship. The manager was under the impression that they had excellent communication skills – however, this view was not shared by their colleagues or direct line manager.


The coach helped the manager reflect on real situations and relationships both positive and negative; to learn and understand how their current communication style was being perceived by others.

The manager had a firm idea of how they wanted to be perceived and realised that their current communication style was not able to generate this perception. The manager learned how to gradually change their style to be more positive, collaborative and effective for all concerned.

Within six months, feedback from the HR Manager and the manager’s direct line manager was that their communication challenges had been resolved, the atmosphere and environment of the team they managed was happier and more productive and the manager was now on track to fulfil their potential and make director.
